Itinerary: Taormina, Santa Venerina, Zafferana
Following the motorway Messina/Catania as far as the exit for Giarre, we pass the Etna villages of Santa Venerina and Zafferana to a height of about 6.175 feet, where you can admire the Silvestri craters. Possibility of ascent by up the permitted height. Return to Taormina via Nicolosi to look at the 1983 lava flow.
ETNA NORD
WEDNESDAYS FROM JUNE TO SEPTEMBER
Itinerary: Taormina, Etna North
Crossing Linguaglossa and Piedimonte we will reach Piano Provenza. By jeep and viewing lava flows, we will arrive in the proximity of the central crater where we will be able to admire a splendid landscape on the Thyrrenian coast, as well as on the Aeolian islands. After lunch stop (not included), return to Taormina
SYRACUSE
WEDNESDAYS
Itinerary: Taormina, Syracuse, Catania
Visit the monumental park of the Neapolis . The greek Theatre, Dyonisius' Ear, the Roman Amphitheatre, the Altar of Hiero.The Island of Ortigia : the Cathedral, the Fountain of Arethusa and the Temple of Apollo. After lunch (lunch nont included ) departure for Catania, orientation tour of the city and return to Taormina along the Coast of the Cyclops (Acicastello - Acitrezza).
AGRIGENTO, PIAZZA ARMERINA
TUESDAYS
Itinerary: Taormina, Catania, Caltanissetta, Agrigento, Piazza Armerina
The city of Greek origin, is noted for its famous Valley of the Temples, the visit included the temples of Concord, Juno, Herakles, Olympia Zeus, Castor and Pollux. Continue to Piazza Armerina and visit of the famous Villa Romana del Casale.
PALERMO, MONREALE
THURSDAYS
Itinerary: Taormina, Catania, Monreale, Palermo.
We will visit the Cathedral and Benedictine Cloister in Monreale and in Palermo the Norman Palace, the Palatine Chapel, the Cathedral and St. John of the Hermits. After a lunch stop (lunch not included) , an orientation tour of the city (Liberty Avenue, Politeama Theatre, Massimo Theatre, Quattro Canti and Praetorian Fountain). We then return to Taormina.

SATURDAY – DEPARTURE AT 9.00 AM (half day tour)
In Palermo, capital of Sicily you can find all the traces of the Sicilian history from Phoenicians trough the Spanish domination to the Liberty style. The visit includes : The Norman Palace (Palatine chapel), the Cathedral, St. John of the Hermits and then on to visit Monreale with its Cathedral and the Benedictine Cloister.
SEGESTA ERICE AND TRAPANI
SUNDAY: DEPARTURE AT 8:00 AM (Full day)
Arrival in Segesta and visit of the the Doric Temple of the 5th century B.C. Proceed to Erice to visit the middle-age town situated at a height of about 800 meters. Orientation tour of Trapani and its salt lakes.

TUESDAY: DEPARTURE AT 07:00 AM (Full day)
We pass by bus the Etna villages of Santa Venerina and Zafferana Etnea to the height of about 6.175 feet. Visit the Silvestri Craters. Possibility of ascent by cable-car and Land Rover to the proximity of the central crater. Departure to Taormina and visit of the Greek Theatre. Free time for shopping.
AGRIGENTO, PIAZZA ARMERINA
THURSDAY : DEPARTURE AT 7:30 AM (Full day)
Departure to Piazza Armerina and visit the of the Roman Villa del Casale with its 3.500 square meters of the well preserved mosaic.
Proceed to the Valley of the Temples, visit includes : Temple of Juno, Concord, Heracles, Olympia-Zeus, Castor and Pollux.
PALERMO MOUNT PELLEGRINO – CAPO MARKET – CATACOMBS – MONDELLO
FRIDAY – DEPARTURE AT 2:30 PM
First visit of the worldwide famous Cappucins Catacombs. Proceed to Mount Pellegrino, the mount facing Palermo and visit of the Santa Rosalia's sanctuary. Proceed to Mondello, the most famous beach of this area and free time for a walk along the fishing village. Continue to visit the famous market of “Il Capo” full of colours and exotic atmosphere.
